VA Autoshow

In my opinion, President of Operation Homefront DC Metro, Vivian Dietrich did a great job on her speech at the last Operation Homefront DC Metro event. The Reynolds Memorial Baptist Church in Sperryville, VA hosted its second annual Auto Show this past Saturday, April 17th at the Sperryville Volunteer Fire Department, and I thought it was great how there were many of the Board of Directors that showed up! Last year, over 120 unique and antique cars were featured and the event drew nearly 500 spectators. This year certainly exceeded expectations, with funds over $5,000 raised. Volunteers for Operation Homefront were on hand distributing information about the needs of military families and collecting contributions, so if anyone is interested in becoming a volunteer let us know! It is a great help.
